Carroll Howard Bowman, 91 of Austinville, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.  Mr. Bowman was born in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Paul and Talitha Cumi Hall Bowman.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Myra Karen Beamer; and brothers, Glenn Bowman and James Bowman.  Carroll was a member of Round Knob Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Wilma Bowman; children and spouse, Carol Ann Sumichrast (Robert), Brian Bowman and Brad Bowman; and one grandchild, Peyton Bowman.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Round Knob Church of Christ at 2:00 PM with Ministers Ed Buchanan and Billy Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shupe Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
