Carrie Mae Harrell, 75 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Harrell was born in Carroll County to the late Lafayette and Elizabeth Edwards Ayers.

Survivors include her children, Rebecca Horton (Lewis) and Larry Haynes (Cecila); fiancé, Enoch Horton; grandchildren, Christina Haynes and Adrian Haynes; step-son, Shane Creasy; and brothers, Yancy Ayers, Gilbert Ayers (Faye), and Lon Ayers.

A private graveside service and burial will be held at the Alexander-Webb Cemetery with Pastor Doug Goad officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
