Carolyn Jane Marshall, 59 of Hillsville, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband Edward Marshall of the home; mother Hazel Montgomery of Hillsville; daughters & sons-in-law Denise & Malcolm Highsmith of Johnson City, TN and Amy & Gene Halsey of Hillsville; grandchildren Kristin Halsey and Ragan Halsey; brother-in-law Ed Jamison; nephews Brian Ingram of Virginia Beach, VA and Derrick Ingram of Martisville; and the many special friends she loved so much. She was preceded in death by her father Arnold Montgomery and sister Bonnie Jamison.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Dinwiddie Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Carl Ginder officiating. Burial will follow in the Dinwiddie Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.
