Carolyn Jewell Horton, 67 of Cana, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Cana Adult Home. Ms. Horton was born in Radford, VA to the late Harold Lee and Maisie Ilene Nester Horton. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Rebecca Horton of Floyd, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Russell Oakley of Low Gap, NC; nephews, Eddie Oakley and Chris Oakley; and special friend, Vestal Hawks of Cana, VA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Chris Oakley officiating. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery in Dugspur. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
