Carolyn Sue Fender, 65 of Woodlawn, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Ms. Fender was born in Joppa, Maryland to the late David Martin and Mary Alice Bandy Fender.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, David Wayne Fender.

Survivors include her son, Dustin Osborne (Niki) of Woodlawn; nephew, Billy Edwards, Jr. of Mocksville, NC; special niece, Jessica Osborne; nieces, Courtney Funk of Hillsville, Brittany Ruiz of Galax, Ann Edwards of Mocksville, NC, Angela Lee of Danville, VA; and Sara Edwards of Danville, VA; special great-niece, Allison Osborne; sisters, Brenda Edwards of Mocksville, NC, Martha Robinson of Hillsville, and Amanda Harrison; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
