Carolee Sue Marshall , 78, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Marshall was born in Wyoming County, West Virginia and was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Wirt and Lena Alice Walls Hatfield.

Survivors include her husband, Glen Neal Marshall of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Diane Crook and Duncan of Bristow, VA, Barbara Nicholson of Hillsville, and Stephanie Marshall of Hillsville; sister, Atholene Motafches of Arlington, VA; nephew, Larry P. Hatfield of Wyoming County, WV; grandchildren and spouses, Colin Crook and Mary, Graham Crook and Faith, Ian Crook and Lora, and Kaitlin Crook; and great granddaughter, Scarlett Joy Crook.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Hillsville First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Shockley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
