Carol Ann Wyrick, 74 of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Northern Regional Hospital.  Mrs. Wyrick was born in Maryland to the late Wallace Primm Wilkerson and Audrey Bolt Wilkerson.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Sanders Wyrick.

Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.  She will be missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include her children Melissa Mhlanga and Amy Wyrick-France (Chad); grandchildren, Zakary Watson, Dylan Watson, Kylee Wyrick, and Madison France; great-grandchildren, Aidan Watson and Easton Watson; and siblings, Chuck Wilkerson (Karen), Sue Butler, and Tina Randall.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 12:00 PM with Pastor Teddy Hiatt officiating.   Inurnment will follow in the Spence Cemetery on Dugspur Road in Dugspur.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
