Carol Dean Vaughn, 80, of Woodlawn, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center. Mr. Vaughn was born in Carroll County to the late Willie Glenn and Mary Isom Vaughn. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaughn was also preceded in death by his sisters and brother-in-law, Lois Ann and Carl Wright and Helen Vaughn. Survivors include his wife, Alta Cruise Vaughn; son, Mark Dean Vaughn; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Marlin Webb and Carolyn and Charlie Beamer; grandchildren, Caitlyn Beamer, Carlie Beamer, Adam Webb, Mason Webb, Kelsey Vaughn, and Korey Vaughn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Agnes Nash, Bonnie and Foy Hill, and Betty Jo and Bruce Mabe; sisters-in-law and spouses, Shirley and Leonard Marshall and Marie and Richard Sullivan; brothers-in-law and spouses, J.B. and Beth Cruise and Edward and Evelyn Cruise; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Camet Spivey and Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
