Carol Ayers Hancock, 68, of the Mountain Plains Community of Carroll County, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.  She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Lemuel and Muriel Hawks Ayers, a son, Ben Hancock, a brother-in-law, Ottis Coulson and a son-in-law, Gary Riggins.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Douglas Hancock and her three children: Jody (Dusty), Kevin (Pam), and Stephanie, as well as grandchildren, Makayla, Jacob, George, and Samantha.  She is also survived by her sister, Teresa Coulson, nephew, Matthew (Jennifer).
