Carmel Dale Sharp, 82 of Woodlawn, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2023 at his home.  Mr. Sharp was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late David O. and Helene U. Sharp. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Warren Jasper Sharp, Claudia Doss, and Bethel Ann Sharp.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Elaine Sharp; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Billie jo Sharp, Marvin and Samantha Sharp, and Kevin and Tessa Sharp; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Peggy Sharp; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Paul Parnell; three grandsons; four granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at11:00 AM with Pastor Sandy Hendrick officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
