Carlton Michael Stone, 40 of Fries, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Mr. Stone was born in Galax, Virginia on January 15, 1982. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Dean Stone.

Survivors include his father, Carl Stone, Jr.; wife, Rachel Wohlford; siblings, Luchelle Burchette, Linda Hill, Barbara Hall, Deena Edwards, Carl Stone, Timothy Stone, and Chris Cook; extended family, Roberta and James Rose and family, Rhonda Brown and family and Russel George and family; best friends, A.J. Rodriquez and Lucky Bobbitt; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at The Rock Worship Center with Michelle Keesling officiating. Burial will be in the Cefus Stone Memorial Cemetery in Austinville. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
