Carlos Wyatt Rigney, 53, of Fancy Gap passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Benjamin and Magadlene Ayers Rigney; sister, Dorothy France. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Jo Rigney of the home; brother, Charles Rigney of Indian Valley; sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Charles Marion of Cana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Don Crockett and Rev. Eugene Crockett officiating. Burial will follow on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Rigney Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Rigney family at P.O. Box 33 Fancy Gap, VA 24328. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Rigney family.
