Carl Richard "Richie" Forrester, Jr., 54 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial. Mr. Forrester was born in Marion, Virginia on May 6, 1967. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hardin Alvin and Ruth Mabe Forrester, and Thomas A. and Imadell Jackson,

Survivors include his wife, Beth Forrester; daughters, Laura and Phillip Pack and Tabitha Dalton; parents, Carl and Hilda Forrester; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Bernie Lewis; grandchildren, Kinsley, Jonah, and Caden Pack; nephew and wife, Brandon and Eden Koger; and great-nephews, Brantley, Keylon and Karder.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM Fort Chiswell Church of God with Pastors Kenneth C. Quesenberry and Robert McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in the Coulson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 until 2:00 prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
