Cameron Parley Easter, 89 of Cana, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at his home. Mr. Easter was born in Carroll County to the late Jacob Beecher & Caroline Allen Easter. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Mr. Easter is survived by his wife Almagray Jennings Easter of the home; daughter & son-in-law Dealiena & Norman Felts of Mooresville, NC; sons & daughters-in-law Kenneth & Frankie Easter of Mt. Airy, NC, Richard & Karen Easter of Galax, and Sherman & Bonnie Easter of Cana; one grandson & spouse Michael & Dawn Easter, four granddaughters Amy Easter, Ashley Galyean, Brenda Maiers, and Rachel Felts; five great grandsons Andrew Maiers, Isaiah Boyd, Cameron Easter, Ethan Atwood, and Brandon Atwood; one great granddaughter Madelyn Maiers; brother & sister-in-law Perry & Jean Easter of Winston Salem, NC; and sisters Irene Clodfelter of Winston Salem, NC and Glenda Dalton of Hillsville.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
