Callie Edna Dalton Williams Lowe, 91 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Lowe was born in Carroll County to the late Orville W. & Maggie Jane Dalton. In addition to her parents Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her husbands Lee Williams and Curtis Lowe. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Ernest and Fay Williams of Fancy Gap, Earl and Sandra Williams of Galax, and John and Bonita Williams of Hillsville; daughters and sons-in-law Sue and Wade Carico of Hillsville and Donna and Doug Horton of Austinville; step children and spouses Jean Wilson of Galax, Frances Hampton of Roanoke, Patricia and Ronald Hackler of King, NC, and JC and Anne Lowe of Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law Everett and Sue Dalton of Galax; sister and brother-in-law Ila Mae and Roy Alderman of Galax; sister-in-law Georgia Dalton; special friend Jackie Davis; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Dalton Hill Christian Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Dalton Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
