Obituary

C. A. "Cricket" McDonald, 76, of Laurel Fork, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. McDonald was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Wallace Aldridge and Gertrude Skipper McDonald. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald McDonald.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Todd McDonald of the home; son, Todd McDonald of Laurel Fork; daughter, Angela Cook of Holly Springs, NC; grandchildren, Ashton McGuire and Nathan Cook; two nephews; and one niece.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Winston Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
