Burton Maynard Alderman, 79 of Austinville, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Alderman was born in Carroll County, VA to the late Burton Marcus and Hulda McGrady Alderman.

He is survived by his wife, Eileene E. Alderman of the home; son, Burton Marcus Alderman of Woodlawn; daughter, Pamela Alderman Richards of Woodlawn; step children, Jason McGinnis of Christiansburg, Jeffery McGinnis of Floyd, and Gregory McGinnis of Floyd; sister, Docie Bell Newman of Austinville ; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and one step great grandson.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Bond officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 10:00 AM, prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
