Bruce K. Dwyer, age 93, of Fancy Gap, VA died peacefully Sep. 30, 2022.  The Rev. Mr. Dwyer was a retired Deacon of the Dioceses of Richmond and of Orlando.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Leila Mabel Dwyer, and by his wife Lorraine.  He is survived by his brother Donald Dwyer and six children: Dennis and Pat Dwyer, Cathleen Nix, Brenda Marrah, Janet Dwyer and Angela Goheen, Stephen and Lee Dwyer, and Tim and Shelly Dwyer.  He is survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.  He was a WWII veteran.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Woodlawn VA at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Deacon Bruce's memory to St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Woodlawn VA.
