Brandon Matthew Ayers, 47 of Galax, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ayers was born on April 22, 1975 in Galax, Virginia. Survivors include his parents, Shirley and Debbie Ayers; children, Khole Ayers, Seth Ayers (Candace), Trey Ayers (Kellie) and Karter Burcham (Little Pickle); special friend, Bonnie Burcham; maternal grandmother, Kathryn (Ma) Horton; grandchildren, Brooklynn Ayers, Matilynn Ayers, Seth H. Ayers, and Matthew Ayers; and special aunt and uncles who loved him like a brother, Steve Horton, Mark Horton; and Pam Horton Stuart.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Sky View Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastors, Gary Horton, Paul Perkins, and Charlie Barbatini officiating. Burial will be in the Webb Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the memorial service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
