Bonnie G. Reeves Proffit, 57 of Dublin, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2009 at Pulaski Community Hospital. Mrs. Proffit is survived by her husband Larry Ray Proffit of the home; daughter B.J. (Minnie) Stillwell of Dublin; sons & daughters-in-law Jerry Walter & Carla Proffit of Roanoke, Troy Ray Proffit of Dublin, and Eric David & Kathy Proffit of Radford; sisters Carol D. Sharp White of Ocala, FL, Tara J. Reeves Porter of Galax, Doris E. Reeves Chandler of West Virginia, Glenda K. Reeves Tibbs of Radford, and Opal J. Reeves Manuel of Florida; half brothers Kenny H. Sharp of Galax and Robert D. Sharp of Wythe County; half sisters Elizabeth Reeves Funk of Virginia, Rita Reeves of Virginia and Julia Reeves McKenny of Hillsville; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; special grandson Matthew Eric Proffit, and Bernice E. Reeves. She was preceded in death by a brother Ronald E. Reeves.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Mr. Gary Tibbs officiating. Burial will follow in the North End Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
