Bonnie Cochran Padgett of Woodlawn, Virginia, passed away on August 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Cochran and Holland Walker Cochran, and her brother-in-law, J.D. Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harold Wade Padgett. Other survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Valerie Padgett; grandchildren, Madison Padgett, Mac Padgett, and Emerson Padgett; step-grandchild, Courtney Donithan; sister, Elsie Smith, and twin sister, Sue Faddis and her husband James.

Bonnie was a faithful member of the Dalton Hill Christian Church where she had attended her entire life. She worked in the Carroll County School system as secretary to the principal at CCHS for 30 years and after retirement, she worked as a substitute teacher.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
