Bonnie Sue Clontz Turman, 63, of Dugspur, VA passed away on December 1, 2007 at her residence after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Edd and Vina Clontz; brothers Jerry, Willie and Donald Ray Clontz; and sister Sarah Sue Clontz. She is survived by husband H. L. Peanut Turman of the residence; son Rodney Primm of Woodlawn; daughter and son-in-law Monica and Chuckie Slate of Pulaski; step-daughter and spouse Carol and Wayne Lawson of Willis, step-son Hank Turman and special friend Angie of Dugspur; step-daughter Regina Turman and fianc Tony Burnette of Dugspur; sisters and brothers-in-law Eula Mae and James Horton of Hillsville, Minnie Alice and Steve Martin of Woodbridge, VA, Annie Belle and Donald Primm of Hillsville, Hattie and Turner Quesenberry of Willis; brothers and sisters-in-law Manuel and Darnell Clontz of Hillsville, Carl and Delores Clontz of Hillsville, J. D. Clontz of Dugspur, Eddie and Donna Clontz of Hillsville, grandchildren Adam Slate and Emily Slate; step-grandchildren Bradley Lawson, Landon Simpkins, and Dylan Simpkins; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel, with Rev. Nathan Phillips and Rev. Kenneth Fogus officiating. Burial will follow in the Quesenberry Cemetery on Duncan Mill Road. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 3, 2007 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
