Bobby Eugene Willard, 83 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Hillsville Health and Rehab.  Mr. Willard was born in Carroll County to the late William and Lola Marshall Willard.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Eugene Willard; and siblings, Warren Vale Willard, Joseph William Willard, Margaret Louise Willard Nichols, Wayne Dale Willard, Dorothy Agnes Willard Thomas, Nancy Edna Willard Lynch, Sharon Elaine Willard Fyfe, and Lionel Glendon Willard.

Survivors include his grandchildren, Zachary Charles Sumner, Eden Willard and Hannah Willard; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Sumner and Liam McCallister.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bobby was a member of Gladesboro Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Gladesboro Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM with Minister Bill Heim officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gladesboro Cemetery.  Military rites will be conducted at the gravesite by Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115.  The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
