Bobby A. Shockley, 62 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Shockley was preceded in death by his father Collin Shockley. He is survived by his wife Dianne Wynn Shockley of the home; daughter Bonnie Sue Shockley of Mount Airy, NC; son Robert Shockley of Silver Springs, MD; mother Vera Sue Shockley of Hillsville; and sisters & brother-in-law Jo Lynne Shockley and Karen & Harold Reynolds all of Hillsville.

Funeral services will be held at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 3:00 PM with Dr. Lawrence Childs officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 13, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family says donations may be made to the Hillsville First Baptist Church Building Fund 1401 North Main Street Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
