Bobby James Reece, 71 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Reece was born in Carroll County to the late Herman Reece and Lovelene Nester Hill.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Elwood Reece and a nephew, Darin Quesenberry; step-dad, Raymond Hill; and step-brothers, Berlin Hill and Harley Hill.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva Reece; daughters and spouses, Jennifer Reece McAlexander and, Jason and Vanessa Reece Drawdy and, Riley; sister and brother-in-law, Margie Quesenberry and, Bennie; step-sister and brother-in-law, Denise Hicks and Greg; grandchildren, Makenzie McAlexander, Cameron McAlexander, and Elliana McAlexander, Callen Drawdy, and Jameson Drawdy; and several special nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Little Vine Community Church with Pastor Kevin Carlan officiating.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family of Mr. Reece.
