Bobby Gene Lindsey, 86 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at his home.  Mr. Lindsey was born in Loudon County, Virginia to the late Carl and Edna Henley Lindsey.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, James Lindsey, Sammy Lindsey, Roger Lindsey, Maxine Quesenberry, and Darlene Quesenberry.

Survivors include his wife, Cora Lindsey; son, Ronnie Lindsey (Shannon); brother, Lonnie Lindsey (Ima); and sisters-in-law, Jeanette Lindsey and Katie Lindsey.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Pastor Tony Hodge officiating.  Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date in the Liberty Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the memorial service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
