Bobby Lee Goad, 71 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at his home.  Mr. Goad was born in Carroll County on March 22, 1952.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Goad and a brother, Michael Goad.

Survivors include his wife, Gracie Goad; children, Donna Goad and Wayne Tate (Drema); mother, Betty Largen Goad; siblings, James Goad (Dorothy), Leon Goad, Ruby Gardner, and Faye Prepoint; granddaughter, Gracie Tate; step-granddaughter, Mary Hill; and special friends, Scott Bowman and Jake Bowman.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Goad-Tate Cemetery with Pastor Nathan Montgomery officiating.  The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
