Bobby Lane Fowler, 80 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  Mr. Fowler was born in Granville County, NC to the late Harold Russell and Margaret Eleanor Veasey Fowler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Ray Fowler and beloved fur baby, Cheyenne.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Peggy Combs Fowler; sister, Sis Layton; and nieces, Tammie Gullie (Jason) and Rhonda Rogers (Todd).

Peggy and Bobby moved to Hillsville in November of 1997.  They have loved calling Hillsville their home for 28 years.

There will be no services at this time.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
