Bobby Lee Fariss, 82 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Fariss was born in Carroll County to the late Posey Clarence Fariss and Delphia Goad Fariss. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Gloria Fariss; brother, Robert Edwin (Josh) Fariss; and sister, Idell Browder.

Survivors include his wife, Shelby J. Fariss; children and spouses, Earl Dean Baskett and wife Patty, Shelly Baskett Shelton, Tonya Fariss Haun and fiancé, Gus Vitale, Eddie Lee Fariss, Vickie Fariss Earl and husband, Robert; siblings, Dorthy Hill, Judith Edwards and Clifford Fariss and wife Judy; grandchildren, Timmy Baskett and wife Andy, Leslie P. Shelton IV and wife Laura, Echo Baskett, Andrew Shelton, Marley Fariss and fiancé Ian Isom; great-grandchildren, Camille Brown, Leslie P. Shelton, V, Scarlette Isom and Freya Baskett.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastors Doug Goad and Scotty Bullins officiating. Burial will follow at Bluemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
