Bobby Ray Anders, 68 of Dugspur, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro. Mr. Anders was born in Grayson County to the late Henry Sherman Anders and Linna Virginia Parks. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Leon Anders.

Survivors include his fiancé, Cathy Crouse; step-children, Thomas Simpkins and Crystal, Victoria Cummins and Jeremy, and James Worrell & Shannon; brother, Jerry Anders and Marie; grandchildren, Austin White, Brady Lineberry, Creed Cummins, James Worrell and Josiah Cummins; and several other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Green Hill Primitive Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Elder Tim McGrady officiating. Inurnment will be in the Simpkins Family Cemetery on Mtn. Acres Lane in Indian Valley. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
