Billy Alexander McLarty, 85, of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at his home. Mr. McLarty was born in Atlanta, Ga to the late George and Frances Alexander McLarty. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister Georgette Conkle.

Mr. McLarty is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rita McLarty of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Kimberly McLarty of Jupiter, FL; a daughter Brenda J. Argyle of Stuart, FL; two grandchildren, Scott C. McLarty and Jennifer A. Maes; one great-grandson, Michael S. McLarty; a brother Jerry McLarty of Atlanta, Ga; and one sister Betty Hendon of Stockbridge, Ga.

Funeral services for Mr. McLarty will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Eddie Bing officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
