Billy Wade Jennings, 72 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Jennings was born in Carroll County to the late Harrison Leonard & Amanda Gray Jennings. He is survived by his wife Elaine Wright Jennings of the home; sons & daughter-in-law Terry & Teresa Jennings of Hillsville and Dennis Jennings of Hillsville and his friend Deanna Arnold of Wytheville; sisters & brothers-in-law Mildred & Paul Norman of Hillsville; Edyth Earwood of Ashville, NC; and Alma & Cameron Easter of Cana; sisters-in-law Beverly Jennings of Burnie, MD and Eula Jennings of Hillsville; grandchildren Ethan Jennings, Lauren Jennings, Levi Jennings, and Melanie Jennings; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 6:30 PM with Rev. Michael Shockley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday night beginning at 5:00 PM until service time. A graveside service will be held on Monday November 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Liberty Hill Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Joy Ranch in Woodlawn, VA or to the Giedons. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
