Billy Hodge

Jerry “Billy” Hodge, 77 of Barren Springs, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Hillsville Health and Rehab Center. Billy was born in Draper, Virginia to the late John Walter Hodge, Sr. and Flora Lena Quesenberry Hodge. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Hodge; and sisters, Dorothy Sizemore, Jean Allison, Nancy Hill and Debbie Corso.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Louise Collins Hodge; daughters, Annette Davis (Lanford), Linda Primm, Tracy Hodge (Toby) and Geri Bays (Tommy); brothers, John Walter Hodge, Jr. (Tina), Tommy Hodge (Joyce), and Kenneth Hodge (Denise); sisters, Helen Edwards, Zana Jarrells, Ada Hill, Vanesa Utt, Della Duncan Rich (Robert); brother-in-law, Glen Collins (Susie); sisters-in-law, Janice Gravley (David), Rebecca Keith, and Mary Collins; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Tony Hodge officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the memorial service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
