Billie Roxann Shelton Mabe, 51 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Mabe was preceded in death by her father William Anderson Shelton and step father Robert Manford Holcomb. She is survived by her husband Bernard D. Mabe of the home; daughters & sons-in-law Kristina & Michael Durnil, Kodie & Travis White and Kasey & Brian Moser all of Hillsville; granddaughters Kendra Durnil and Kailey White; mother Betty Jean Holcomb of Fancy Gap; brothers & sisters-in-law Ricky & Laura Jean Holcomb, Bobby & Ellen Holcomb, Tony & Missy Holcomb, Mark Holcomb, and Terry Holcomb all of Hillsville; sisters & brother-in-law Kathy Lineberry and Nancy & Tim Morris all of Hillsville; and nieces and nephews Skyler Morris, Austin Holcomb and Kaitlyn Holcomb.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Elder Edward Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mabe Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
