Bill "Beezer" Sutphin, 61 of Dugspur, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA. Mr. Sutphin was born in Manassas, Virginia to the late Orba Lee and Imogene June Reece Sutphin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Michael Sutphin and John Sutphin.

Survivors include his daughters, Ashley Combs (Travis) and Elaina Sutphin (Blayze); grandchildren Madison Thomas and Branson Sawyers; mother of his children, Dorcas Goad; aunt, Peggy Reece; cousin, Cassandra West; several nieces; and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Billy Poff and Pastor Vernon Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
