Bill Burbridge, 63, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at his home. Mr. Burbridge was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Cecil Raymond & Edith Marie Neff Burbridge. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Stewart Burbridge of the home; step son Randy Woodard of St. Charles, IL; step daughter & spouse Melanie & Kevin Logue of Dallas, TX; special friend James Horton; and five step grandchildren Ryan Woodard, Aly Woodard, Christopher Logue, Michael Logue, and Amber Logue.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 6:30 PM with Dr. Lawrence Childs officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery near Raleigh, NC on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until service time. Memorial donations may be made to the Hillsville First Baptist Church Building Fund.
