Beulah P. Honaker, 89, of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Honaker; parents,Melvin Cloyd and Ellen Etta Akers Peak.

Ms. Honaker is survived by her daughter and son in-law , Sandra and Ronald Duncan of Hillsville; sons and daughters in-law, Richard and Mary Honaker, and Eugene and Audrey Honaker all of Hillsville; three brothers and sister in-law, Jesse and Geraldine Peak of Hillsville, David Peak of Pulaski, and Everette Peak of Dublin; grandson, Samuel Lee Duncan.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. R.J. Buttery officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Christian Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
