Mrs. Beulah Marie Guynn Goad, 84, of Colt Lane, Fancy Gap, Virginia, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Goad was born March 28, 1929 in Carroll County, VA, the daughter of the late Will and Lucy Guynn. Beulah was a homemaker. She is survived by sons, Ronnie and daughter-in-law, Gina Goad of Mt. Airy, and Glarry and daughter-in-law, Jean Goad of Dobson; two granddaughters, Taylor Goad of Mt. Airy and Jennifer Martin of Cana; three great grandsons; sisters, Viola Ayers of Asheboro, NC, Bonnie Bonds and husband Hassel of Fancy Gap, and Josie Bain and husband, Floyd of Floyd; brother, Jessie Guynn and wife Cindy of Fancy Gap; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goad was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Morris Goad; sister, Nonnie Bain; and three brothers, William Guynn, Wiley Guynn and Anderson Guynn. The funeral service will b held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Dale Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Branch Cemetery in Floyd, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
