Beulah Bernice Goad Richardson, age 95, of Charlottesville and formerly of Carroll County Virginia, died Sunday November 26, 2017 in a Charlottesville Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Beulah was born September 1, 1922 in Carroll County, a daughter of the late Posiy Goad and Laura Dalton Goad.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Richardson and two sisters, Cora Goad and Fredia Goad Raines; and seven brothers, Arlin, Ornia, Forest, Clinton, Elgia, Friel and Fremon Goad.

She is survived by her daughter; Cora E. Adcock and husband James of Lovingston, Virginia; two sisters, Frances Belle Goad Reece of Charlottesville, Virginia and Sylvia Goad Hammill and husband George of Keene, Virginia as well as a brother, Russell Goad and wife Nancy of Willis, Virginia and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Roland McCraw and Pastor Stan Odgen officiating. Interment to follow in the Thompson-Bolt Cemetery in Willis, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family locally.
