Betty Sue Wood, 89 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Wood was born in Carroll County to the late Walter F. and Claudie Webb Quesinberry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie W. Wood; son, Wayne W. Wood; and nephew, Robert R. Tobler.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Walon Wood and Kelsey Moler; and nephews, Edwin E. Tobler, David W. Tobler, James W. Tobler, and Weldon W. Tobler.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Mr. Corey Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the New Bell Spur Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
