Betty Rose Webb, 66 of Cana, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, NC. Ms. Webb was born in Floyd County to the late Lonnie & Edith Webb. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Lonnie (Buddy) Webb of Meadows of Dan, Kyle Webb of Laurel Fork, and Lowell (Binky) Webb of Oklahoma. She is survived by brothers Wayne Webb of Alberta, VA and Sidney Elmon Webb of Meadows of Dan; sisters Lois Boyd of Floyd, Mozelle Boyd of Meadows of Dan, Hallie Semones of Roanoke and Hilda Ann Webb of Laurel Fork; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Green Mountain Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Nathan Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
