Betty S. Saunders, 77 of Dugspur, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Saunders was born in Vivian, West Virginia to the late Elbert & Mazie Lindsey Warner. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Saunders was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Herman Saunders. She is survived by her son Charles H. Saunders, II of Dugspur; daughter & son-in-law Debbie & Craig Nason of Berlin Center, OH; brother Carl Warner of Laurel Fork; sister & brother-in-law Mary & John Saunders of Michigan; three granddaughters; one grandson, six great granddaughters; and four great grandsons.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dustin Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
