Betty Jo Reynolds, 77 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late William F. and Cara Moore Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Elmo Reynolds; sisters, Martha Guynn and Essie Gaye Marshall; and brother, Vinton Ray Marshall.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Hawks (Jonathan); grandson, Isaac Hawks and Lucas Hawks; sister, Peggy Walls (Tex); sister-in-law, Beverly Reynolds; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gary Horton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the memorial service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady is serving the family.
