Betty Lou Maxwell, 61 of Burleson, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Plaza at Mansfield in Texas. Betty was born in Carroll County to the late Leroy Banks & Marquerite Bullion Holcomb. She was also preceded in death by her husband Tony Maxwell; daughter Connie Thomas; and grandson Cody. Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law Leasa & Brett Williams of Burleson, Texas, Tonya & Jeff Streeter of Joshua Texas, Megan & Wesley McBride of Galax, Virginia, and Ami Botello of Galax; sons & daughter-in-law Jeffrey Montgomery of Carroll County, Virginia and Steven & Jennifer Reeves of Galax; son-in-law Arlie Thomas, husband of Connie of Meadows of Dan, Virginia; grandchildren Brandi, Jessica, Joshua, Jennifer, Ashley, Ryan, Chelsea, Zachary, Kash, Zayden, Taylor, and Aaliyah; great grandchild Halle Marie; and a special friend whom she loved and was loved by, Frank Kurosky of Forth Worth, TX.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dustin Montgomery and Rev. Kirk Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
