Betty Quesinberry Lindsey, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Hillsville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Mrs. Lindsey was born in Virginia to the late Rufus and Mary Coleman Quesinberry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lindsey; and two brothers, Ray Quesinberry and Cecil Quesinberry.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Tim Sharp of Woodlawn and Lora Lindsey of Hillsville; grandchildren and spouse, Joey Sharp and wife, Kim and Danielle Sharp, all of Woodlawn; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Lee and Alfred Howlett of Woodlawn and Gloria Fowler of Woodlawn; sisters-in-law, India Mae Quesinberry of Woodlawn, Mary Ellen Quesinberry of Woodlawn, Katie Lindsey of Hillsville, Darlene Quesenberry of Hillsville, and Maxine Quesenberry of Woodlawn; and brothers-in-law and spouses, Bobby and Cora Lindsey, Lonnie and Ima Lindsey, and Roger and Janette Lindsey all of Hillsville.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Coulson Church of the Brethren at 2:00 PM with Pastor Hal Sonafrank, Pastor Russell Payne, and Rev. Don Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Bobbitt-Quesinberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
