Betty Charlotte James, 98 of Willis, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. James was born in Bedford, OH to the late Gus and Garnett J. Boswell Barber. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold James and daughter, Linda Kearns.

Survivors include her daughters, Patty Foley (Charles) of Ohio and Carol Futchko of Willis; brother Ray Barber (Mary Jo) of Pennsylvania; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial and services will be held on Restland Cemetery in Bainbridge, OH. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family locally.
