Betty Jo Edwards, 70 of Max Meadows, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Edwards was born to the late Charlie and Frances Wright. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Edwards.

Survivors include her children, Cindy Smythers of Hillsville and John Wesley Edwards, Jr. of Max Meadows; sister, Linda Louise Edwards; and four grandchildren.

There will be no services at this time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
