Bernice Estelle Reeves, 82, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie T. Reeves; son, David C. Reeves. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-laws, Betty and Johnny Miller of Hillsville, Elizabeth and Randy Funk of Hillsville, Rita Reeves and Helmuth Inestroza of Galax, and Julie and Thomas McKinney of Hillsville; son Donnie Reeves of Christiansburg; brother, James Alexander of Blackwater, VA; two sisters, Frances Willis of Galax, and Bertie Mae Edwards of Galax; seven grandchildren, Randy Miller, Amy Vass, Chris Funk, Shaina Robertson, Heather Montgomery, India Reeves, and Levi McKinney; eight great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 12:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the Dalton Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Reeves family.
