Bernice S. Kimble, 96, of Laurel Fork, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born in Floyd County to the late William and Myrtle Moles Sutphin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kimble was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Ford Kimble; daughter, Darling; brothers, Winfred Sutphin, Arvin Sutphin, Leston Sutphin, Ronnie Sutphin, and Nulan Sutphin; and a sister, Oleta Keith. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sharon Kimble of Laurel Fork; brother, Wayne Sutphin of Riner; sisters, Gwyna Hylton of Floyd, Patty Stanley of Laurel Fork, and Florris Poff of Christiansburg; granddaughters and spouses, Kristina and David Delp and Jennifer and Billy Johnson; and great grandchildren, Trey Delp, William Delp, Addyson Delp, Kayleigh Johnson, MaKinleigh Johnson, and Samuel Johnson. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, November 6, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. A graveside service with burial will follow the visitation at Gladesboro Cemetery with Lester Harrell and Shawn Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Building Fund, 2511 Jeb Stuart Highway, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
