Benton Thomas, 75 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife Hazel B. Thomas of the home; son & daughter-in-law Kenneth & Marisol Thomas of Laurel Fork; brother & sister-in-law Sammy J. & Lois Thomas of Laurel Fork; grandsons Samuel Thomas and Israel Thomas; step granddaughter Sara Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Harold Fenstermaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from six until eight.
